What does the Quartz Processor do?
It mixes the hot and cold water to the temperature you have selected. If you have chosen a PUMPED model it also raises the pressure of the mixed water to give you a powerful shower.
Where is the Quartz processor located?
It can be placed anywhere convenient up to 10 metres away from your shower, say the loft, the airing cupboard or under the bath. If your shower is in a difficult location for plumbing then Quartz is ideal since only the blended water needs to run to the shower cubicle.
How does the remote control work?
As well as the control in the shower cubicle you can purchase an additional remotely sited control outside of the cubicle. This allow you to turn the shower ON/OFF and control the temperature without entering the cubicle.
What is an Off the Wall model?
With this model the blended water comes down through the ceiling in the riser rail that the handshower rests on. This saves unsightly pipework in the shower or the need to run pipes in or behind the shower wall. There is an extension piece for the riser rail to use in rooms with very high ceilings.
What is an On the Wall model?
With this model the blended water is supplied from pipework within or behind the shower wall. This is often already the case when replacing an existing shower.
How will I know my shower is at the correct temperature?
All Quartz showers are thermostatically controlled and consequently very safe. Once it reach the temperature you have selected it will never get any hotter. A red light shows on the shower control shows when the water is at the desired temperature. No more surprises from water which is too hot or too cold!
Supposing the water supplies to my bath or shower room are already pressurised/pumped?
No problem, choose a STANDARD Quartz model rather than a PUMPED model.
What if I want a Quartz shower in gold rather than chrome?
No problem, Quartz models are all available in gold or chrome finishes. Unfortunately gold models are more expensive and you may have to wait a few days if they are not in our stock, we expect to always have chrome models in stock.
What happens if the shower goes wrong?
This is most unlikely as Quartz models are extremely reliable. In the event of a problem first consult your installer. The Aqualisa guarantee is magnificent and their after sales desk is very helpful 01959 560020.
Supposing I want the shower head at a fixed height
Choose a Fixed head Quartz model, note this is only available On the Wall since the water supply must come from within or behind the shower wall to feed the fixed head.
But what about..........?
