Aqualisa Showers
Bathroom Technology have been successfully selling Aqualisa showers and bathroom products for over five years. Although the range of products has changed over time Aqualisa's commitment to customer satisfaction remains unrivalled. Value for money, great design and reliability remain at the top of the Aqualisa priority list, which is why we continue to market their complete range of showers:
Both Quartz and Axis benefit from years of experience in combining digital control with thermostatic shower technology in their shower controls and shower kit designs. Aqualisa Thermo Showers differ in that the control requires manual manipulation of a knob or lever, but these still retain a constant temperature based upon proven thermostic technology. You can always extend your showering options from the range of Aqualisa accessories, alternatively you can mix and match using components from other quality manufacturers. Aqualisa showers can be purchased as complete items or just as a shower valve or the shower kit alone.
Aqualisa continue to provide supplies of spare parts, many parts are still available for Aquavalve models back to 1978. We aim to stock most of the commonly replaced parts so that they can be delivered promptly via courier.
There are many factors to consider whether you are looking for a modern shower, traditional style shower or just spare parts but you can rest assured that our sales team are always on hand to guide you should you require any additional help in making your selection.
Things you may like to consider:
- Exposed or Concealed Shower Valve? - Concealed shower valves look neatest but do you have sufficient depth in the wall to "bury" the valve body? There are also disturbance and maintenance considerations. Is your shower already tiled and if so can you replace any that break? If the shower valve subsequently requires maintenance an exposed design is easier to get at without damaging the wall?
- Initial cost - Valves which are wholely brass (eg Aquavalve 700 range) tend to be more expensive than those with some plastic components (eg Aquavalve 609 or Aquarian). Showers with an integral pump (eg Aquastream or some digital models) tend to look expensive but this can be misleading when compared to the combined cost of purchasing a regular shower and separate pump.
- Preferences for -
- What is your existing Plumbing system? Showers work best with pressurised water systems, either with a pump , using an unvented water heating system (like Megaflow) or from a mains fed combi-boiler. Will you need to add a pump or perhaps go for a shower model with an inbuilt pump like Aquastream or Quartz pumped digital showers? If you stay with a gravity fed system always choose Varispray shower kits not Turbostream shower kits. .
- Warranty - The Aqualisa warranty depends upon the model you choose and is between 12 months and 5 years. All spares carry a 3 year Aqualisa warranty.
- Available hot water? - If there is limited hot water available then a convenient option would be a Quartz electric shower which heats its own hot water.
